[a] SELECT YOUR OWN VERSE [b] MEMORISE YOUR VERSE- Read the verse to yourself slowly several times,out loud if you can. Write out the words several times until you can do so from memory Underline key words,then repeat the verse emphasising the key words. Rewrite you seleted verse underlining the key words. [c] USE YOUR IMAGINATION-As you allow the verse to take hold in your mind let it spark your imagination.Remember Jesus taugh with word pictures-parables. *

You are correct.It is very important to meditate inorder to find the truth from Gods word.Remember Jesus never spoke one word planly.Read Matthew13v10-17.Notice without knowledge, we can't see.Eg,have you ever heard of the saying 'out of mind, out of sight?'We can only see what we understand through knowledge that makes it possible. *

Do you remember Elisha when he prayed to the Lord to strike the syrian army blind?The Lord answered and did so.Notice the kind of blindness mentioned there.It cannot be pysical blindness at all but rather of someone without knowledge of who or what they were looking for.Even the servants had there eyes open when they were not blind. *

With this example,you can SEE just how important it is to have as much knowledge of God's word as possible so as not to be as those who Christ keept taking about that can't see even when they were not pysicaly blind people.Can you SEE what i mean? *

Learn to read the bible in such a way that you take into account the whole of it and not a few selected verse.God strongly worns of that.It is amazeing to not that God wrote the bible in such a way that all the verses interelate to each other.Its only when you learn to look at them all, that you are able to see the deeper meaning. *
