There is no specific scripture in the bible that talks about the subject of dating. However there some few things that the bible warns us on. 'Special' relationships between people of opposite s*x does carry with a great potential of temptation. Firstly, in a relationship

You become emotionally attached to that person. You become possessive of that person. You even crave to spend more time with him/her. The devil does present fantasies about you and the other person. His first suggestions seems harmless. To born again believers, he talks about marriage but after that it develops to lust!! Posibilities of unwanted pregnancies, abortions, pains, rejections, etc follow what began as a harmless dating exercise. What does the bible say about these things?!! James1:14 says 'a man is drawn by his own l*st and when that l*st has concieved gives birth to sin and when the sin matures gives birth to death' (my own paraphrase). be in compromise position when you meet someone alone, dont go!! You dont have to prove to anyone that you can handle it!! Deal with yourself first!! Be sure you have the Word abiding richly in your heart!! Remember Psalm 119 says 'I have put your Word in my heart that I may not sin against you' Im taking it for granted that you already know that premarital s*x is wrong according to 1Corinth7:1.
